Looking at the growth of IP applications and grants in several jurisdictions (especially in South Asia, Gulf countries), a start-up company was established in the year 2014 to look after renewal/annuity payment and other IP support services which could focus and grow exclusively into these services. This start-up was envisaged to render annuity payment services more efficiently and cost effectively.
Initially confined to India, gradually, renewal/annuity payment and IP support services expanded to several other countries South Asia, Guld countries and some of the jurisdictions of Far East Asia too. Consequently, we acquired considerable experience in handling these services. Singapore Govt. started focusing on IP development, registration and defending since 2013. As part of that plan, the Singapore government encouraged IP-Box tax regime similar to the ones in the Netherlands and the Ireland. It also encouraged and aimed to make its local IP office IPOS, a most important IP offices in the world.
In addition to encouraging the development and registration of IP in Singapore, the government also vigorously defends IP and the ability to resolve disputes fairly and efficiently will attract more IP development and registration, which will further fuel the economy.
